AWAA is an International Firm based in Brussels.  Its structure is organized on the concept of the ‘virtual’ office, always working with a collection of international architects, designers, writers, developers, artists, etc...  Many projects that AWAA’s members have been involved in are accomplished through linked offices on different continents.  Utilizing a small staff, AWAA is part of an alternate community that expands and contracts according to workload.  Thereby AWAA eliminates all excess that is characteristic of more traditional architectural entities and is able to tackle any size and type of projects.  
AWAA is dedicated to creating design solutions to programmatic problems.  We are especially interested in using design to expand the scope of projects, both public and private, that are burdened with restricted programmatic vision and tight budgets.
AWAA’s goal is not to redefine architecture but to explore its use.
